  7. LONE-OPTIMIZER will optimize any hard disk supported by UNIX/XENIX. It has ten
  8. phases of optimization with a real mode and a practice mode. LONE-OPTIMIZER
  9. capabilities include directory entry sorting, resizing directories, file
  10. defragmentation and placing all directories on one cylinder for faster path
  11. traversal. During installation, a jet Disk Optimizer floppy disk is generated.
  12. This floppy is booted and the user is introduced to the Disk Optimizer Menu.
  13. Practice sessions are allowed with no destruction of data. All file systems in
  14. the partition can be optimized including XENIX, UNIX S51K, and AFS (Acer Fast
  15. File System). LONE-OPTIMIZER will respect disk partitions created for DOS, OS/2
  16. or other operating systems. It also will work around bad sectors on the hard
  17. disk. LONE-OPTIMIZER is now available for SCO XENIX Version 2.13 or greater and
  18. SCO UNIX. It will support a variety of hard disk types including ST-506, ESDI,
  19. of SCSI.
